It's been another quiet day. I've managed to do the odd article, but a lot of today's 'work' has again depended on people getting back to me.

Regarding the Royal Publicity Stunt Wedding, JUST GO AWAY. I had to take the day off work today. I wasn't ill, no... we had it sprung on us last night that the rewiring would (finally!) be done today.

Thursday was a much more eventful day at work, since the paper had gone out and we were starting to get once again swamped with people writing in. All the same, I went on a little walkabout at lunch time - the weather was gorgeous; too nice to sit in the office all day; plus I was hungry and had some photos to pick up.

What can I say about my first day back at the Star?

I am so glad I came back; and grateful that they let me return - even wanted me back working there. The experience I gain will be so valuable; worth more than any wage, in my opinion. We got rid of the malware. All it took was to run the computer in safe mode with networking, then have both BitDefender and Malwarebytes run a complete scan of the computer. Basically it was the exact same process that got rid of ThinkPoint and Security Shield.

I forgot the council were coming to rewire all the houses in this area. To be honest, I'd rather hoped that they'd forgotten, too. Alas, we got a letter today - they'll be invading our homes starting Wednesday, drawing up plans to absolutely ruin our decor.
